Is Yoga For You?

Yoga has become incredibly popular over recent years and many people are now choosing it over other forms of exercise.  Yoga is great for your health and it is also fun.  When practising yoga your entire body gets a workout and all those muscles that have tensed up over the years begin to relax and stretch.

Some people are afraid to try yoga as they think it will be a painful experience.  Yoga, if done correctly, will not hurt but will gently stretch your muscles.  You do not need to push yourself until your muscles hurt, you only need to stretch the muscles gently and the more that you do yoga the more your muscles will stretch.  So just start slowly and don’t push yourself too hard and you will be fine.

Yoga not only helps to exercise your body but also your mind.  When practising yoga on a regular basis you will find yourself much more relaxed in general and less stressed.  Yoga is like a natural fountain of youth and it will make you feel good, healthy and strong.
